MINI LINE FOLLOWER


Hai, This is our Mini Line follower, this line follower is in the size of CD, the maximum size of the bot is equal to the size of the compact disc. The CPU for the line follower is ATMEGA 16, here we are using 5 IR sensors to sense the line, The main advantage of the line follower is AUTO CALIBRATION , the ir sensors automatically calibrates the line colors value . One H bridge motor driver L293D is used to drive the motors, Two 500 rpm gear headed motors are used . Here we are using differential drive. One Castor wheel is used in the center. One 8x2 lcd is used to read the sensors values, for setting , etc. Coming to battery section, we used two 3.7v / 2 Amps battery connected in series .And last , the bot is having to facility of in system programming . The above all the major components of the mini line follower.

(2009) First, Mini participated in IIT shastra 2009, but he failed. Not too bad, he got sixth position among the 80 participants .

(2009)Next in IIT Calicut, he got second place in the NEXUS EVENT , prilms for IIT Bomby

(2010) After that Mini participated 3 events in DAKSH 2010 organized by SASTRA UINVERSITY , out of three events he got prizes in two events

* FIRST position in Orion Event
* SECOND position in Lost Event.

ATMEGA 16 BREAD BOARD HEADER




Hai, Atmega 16 header board is same like atmega 8 , instead of mega 8 we are using Atmega 16, This board also contains power supply, oscillator, ISP, Header pins etc.

ATMEGA 8 BREAD BOARD HEADER




Hai , This is Atmega 8 bread board header, Features of the board are power supply, atmega 8 controller, In system programming and bread board header pins. You can directly connect this header board to your bread board and start developing your own projects. The reset, oscillator, Vcc, Gnd of the controller are configured in the board itself, so u you no need to connect again in your bread board. You can directly accesses the ports of the controller. This board will reduce your time , space in the bread board etc. You can directly plug in the 12V adapter in the board, D.C socket is provided so that any adapter can be easily attached with this board. After that D.C socket a switch is provided to ON/OFF the header board, after the switch W10 ready made bridge is connected to convert the a.c to d.c, A 1000uf capacitor acts as main filter capacitor, to regulate the power supply we are using as usual IC7805 , 5V regulator. To indicate the power a RED led is connected with 1K resistor. For oscillator we are using 8 Mhz crystal and two 33pf capacitor to reduce the noise. Finally ISP connector, this connector contains 9 (MOSI, MISO,SCK,RESET, GROUND ). You can use isp cable from programmer to header board to program your controller without removing from bread board . Now your header board is ready to plug in into to bread board. keep rocking :)
